The Assistech Wiki is a collaborative website aiming to develop an evidence base and information resource within the Assistive Technology field.

Information about Assistive Technology

The 'Experience Base' area of this site contains information about Assistive Technology. Here you can contribute or read about experiences, best practice, new things, questions, comments, real life experiences... absolutely anything assosiated with Assistive Technology. The site also contains a list of Assisitve Technology services and companies and an area for announcements.

Developing an Assistive Technology Evidence Base

The 'Evidence Base' area demonstrates how you can contribute to the development of the Assitive Technology Evidence Base - using simple tools to build up a library of Assistive Technology evidence online. You can also go to the Research or Projects area of the wiki to document and discuss your research ideas.

About the Assistech Wiki

A wiki is a web page that can be edited by anyone (who is registered) - thus information can be slowly improved and added to. You might have heard of wikipedia - the online encyclopedia - the Assistech Wiki aims to be a Wikipedia just for AT.

This website is the ‘sister’ to the ASSISTECH mailing list:
